Welcome to Nicaragua! Leave Managua 7am, arrive at the ferry in San Jorge 10am, arrive at Santo Domingo for lunch 12:30, rest and beach. Go to ecological hostel 4pm, familiarize with surroundings.
Leave 6am for trip around Concepcion Volcano. Visit Charco Verde about 8am, bike the trails. Visit Jesus de Maria Point around 10am. Lunch in Moyogalpa, rest and continue the route. Short rest in Altagracia, opportunity for a snack. Continue to the ecological hostel.
Day to rest. Visit Ojo de Agua (natural spring) in the morning. After lunch you can go to the beach or do other activities.
Leave 6am to bike around Madera Volcano. Visit Merida about 7am, where you can eat a natural ice cream. Visit San Ramon Waterfall about 9:30am where we will leave the bikes and hike up to the falls. After lunch and a rest, continue around the island. Arrive back at 5:30 pm for a well deserved rest. Read more
Leave 7:30am to catch the 9am ferry leaving Ometepe. Visit Catarina, overlooking Laguna de Apoyo. Arrive in Managua around 4pm.
