Kuching, capital of the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo, is a bustling, diverse city of old colonial buildings and modern towers. Plus, Gunung Mulu National Park is a protected rainforest in Malaysian Borneo. It’s known for its dramatic peaks and caves, including the huge, bat-filled Deer Cave. The Pinnacles at Gunung Api are tall, jagged limestone formations with steep trails and rare orchids.
Upon arrival Mulu Airport, meet and greet by our friendly representative and transfer to Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa for check in. Afternoon, meet at resort lobby and transfer to Mulu National Park headquarters. Upon registration and proceed on plank walk for 3 Km to reach Deer Cave & Lang Cave. After exploring the caves, proceed to bats observatory to observe bats flying out of caves entrance at late evening (Only confine to fine weather). Afternoon, proceed to visit SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE. Popularly known as the "Living Museum‟, the Village is a showcase of a kaleidoscope of Sarawak‟s cultures and traditions. On arrival, you will explore the 7 authentic replicas of ethnic houses. Chinese Farm house, Malay's Stilted House, Melanau Tall House, Penan Hut as well as Longhouses of the Iban, Bidayuh and Orang Ulu. Displayed in each house are the many artifacts made by the individual dwellers. Demonstration of arts and crafts like beadwork, wood and bamboo carvings, "Pua" weaving and straw weaving can be seen while touring the Village.
