"Vranac" and "Krstas" are two indigenous varieties of wine which Montenegrins are particularly proud of. For lovers of good wine, the most famous wines of the region are the
high-end white "Krstač", "Cabernet", "Chardonnay" and red, "Vranac", "Pro Corde" produced at Plantaze. The wine trail takes you through the most interesting and most remarkable vineyards of the country. After a walk along the coast, the trip takes you along the Skadar Lake and further to Podgorica. The great vineyard of Montenegro is the largest vineyard lands in Europe. The vineyard Plantaze, Cemovsko covers more than 2250 ha. After crossing vineyards, you will reach the wine cellar Sipcanik, which opened its doors at the end of 2007, and it is located in a former military facility which was transformed into a wine cellar. The winery is located about 30 meters below ground. That tunnel is 356 meters long, 13.5 meters wide and 7 meters high. A place of 7700 m² , with temperature constantly between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius and air humidity ranges between 70 and 80%. You will have the experience of tasting wine before lunch (local specialties). The wine tour of "Plantaze" lasts around two hours. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, and bringing a light jacket. Then return to your hotel for a free time in the afternoon and dinner at your hotel.
