While in Podgorica, you can see government institutions, monuments, and the old part of the city with its Mosque and Clock tower from the 18th century, that are the oldest preserved structure in Podgorica. Or you can visit “Niagara Falls Montenegro”, which are located on the river Cijevna near Podgorica. For lunch you can go to the restaurant at Niagara or at the most popular restaurant in Podgorica center "Pod Volat ". Then departure to Kolasin, located northeast of Montenegro. Along the way to Kolasin, there are photo stops and visits, such as Canyon of Moraca River and the 12th century Moraca Orthodox monastery. After Breakfast you depart from hotel to visit National Park Biogradska Gora also known as the King's Forest. You can hike the forest and along Lake Biograd. Then you’ll head to Zabljak; towards Mojkovac, along the way you can visit: Monastery Dobrilovina, Djurdjevica Tara Bridge - which has a very nice view on the Canyon of Tara River... Continue through the Black pine forest protected by UNESCO as a part of National park Durmitor, towards Zabljak. Once you have arrived in Žabljak you can visit the Black lake situated in the middle of Durmitor National Park, there are marked hiking and biking trails around the lake (rentals available on site). After breakfast depart to Piva Lake (45 km long). You can take the road through the mountains of Durmitor – across Trsa and enjoy in a unique landscape to go to Pluzine. If you get hungry along the way we suggest lunch at Pluzine at restaurant Zvono. You can walk along the Piva Lake and after drive towards Bosnia & Herzegovina to the dam. Then turn back to go to Rudinice (towards Niksic), on the way you can visit Orthodox monastery Piva and continue until the Ethno Village Izlazak overlooking the lake, cottage housing - apartment (2-4 persons per cottage). After breakfast leave from Ethno Village towards Niksic. As you’re heading towards Niksic, in-between Podgorica and Niksic (15km) you can visit Ostrog Monastery that is dedicated to St. Vasilije of Ostrog whose relics are kept in 17th century chapel it is a famous place of pilgrimage for orthodox Christian believers because of its miraculous cures. Then continue on the road as if you are going to Trebinje, Bosnia i Herzegovina. On this scenic route you will get to see Montenegrin hidden beauty. Enjoy breakfast then walk through the old town of Kotor: Maritime Museum, the 9th Century St. Tryphon Cathedral, Orthodox Churches of St. Nicola and St. Luka, the Churches of St. Klara and St. Ozana…While in Kotor, you can visit some of its villages such as, Dobrota, St. Stasije, and Perast. In the town Perast, there are two islets that are facing the town: St. George (natural islet) and Our Lady of Rocks (manmade islet). You have the possibility of a boat trip to Our Lady of Rocks with its beautiful catholic church from 17th century. If your boat trip gets you hungry you can have lunch in Perast in one of local restaurants (fish is recommended because of famous fishermen from Perast). Or you can go to Tivat – to visit Porto Montenegro (new luxury village and marina) from Kotor through the tunnel, and enjoy a beautiful port side… After your visit, you can go through Prcanj (towards the ferry but do not take the ferry) and continue throughout the bay to Kotor. After breakfast depart from hotel and head to Njeguši where you can have a tasting for some northern customary smoked ham (pork or veal), cream cheese, honey and Rakija. Then we suggest you go to National Park Lovcen and visit the mausoleum of Petar II Petrovic Njegosh located on the second highest peak of the mountain. From there you will have a 360 degree view of all Montenegro. After the visit continuation to Cetinje – Old Royal Capital, where you can see King Nikola I Palace - museum, Njegoš Museum, Church on Cipur, the Ethnographic Museum, the National Museum, and the Monastery of Cetinje from 15th century. Then head towards Budva. And when you arrive you go in direction of Petrovac where you will arrive at Sveti Stefan, an elegant resort situated on a small peninsula off the coast of Montenegro. Once you have finished your breakfast depart to Lake Skadar (the biggest lake in the Balkans) located in Virpazar. From Pržno take the road through Pastrovicka gora where you will have beautiful views of Budva Riviera. When you arrive in the village of Virpazar you can take a cruise on Lake Skadar (contact us for reservations). You can then go to the charming village of Rijeka Crnojevica. If you get hungry we recommend Badanj restaurant in Virpazar or Poslednja Luka restaurant in Rijeka Crnojevica. Also there are possibilities to visit local small vineries such as Buk Vinery, Kopitovic Vinery, Lipovac Vinery… Also you should visit the oldest preserved village in Montenegro – Godinje. Then head towards Budva, once there you can visit the fortified old town, and its marina. On the way back to Pržno you can visit Orthodox monastery Praskvica.
