The itinerary we offer covers not only impressive Moscow and artistically beautiful St.Petersburg but also Rostov-on-Don -- a capital of the Don region and a city unlike any other - as well as neighbouring towns of Novocherkassk, Azov, Taganrog and a village of Starocherkasskaya.

Breakfast at the hotel followed by departure for the sightseeing program of the day: 10.00 City sightseeing tour Enjoy an unforgettable city sightseeing tour with our professional guide. You will see the most well-known Moscow landmarks: Red Square with the Kremlin Wall and GUM Department Store, Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Sparrow Hills, Bolshoi Opera and Ballet House, Lomonosov University. There will be several photo breaks during the tour, so you will have plenty of time and opportunities for taking pictures. 13:00 – 14:00 Free time for lunch (self-catering). 14:30 the Kremlin tour Moscow is inconceivable without the Kremlin. Not only one of the largest and interesting museums in the world included in UNESCO World Heritage List, but also the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation, the Kremlin bears the traces of generations of Russia’s rulers. Accompanied by our professional guide you will: - Roam one of the oldest and the most popular pedestrian streets - the Old Arbat – a living, ever-changing space, exciting in many ways. - Descend into Moscow metro – the first underground railway in the Soviet Union, which consists of 12 lines and 203 stations. You will see stations with marble walls, high ceilings and grandiose chandeliers. Interior decoration includes bas-reliefs, friezes, marble and bronze statues, stained-glass windows and countless mosaics made with glass, marble and granite. Breakfast at the hotel followed by departure for the sightseeing program of the day: 10.30 Tour of the Main Museum Complex of the State Hermitage. Founded in 1764 by the Russian empress Catherine the Great, the State Hermitage Museum is one of the oldest and largest art galleries in the world. It houses more than 2.7 million exhibits. During the tour you will visit 4 buildings of the Main Museum Complex: the Winter Palace, Small Hermitage, Old Hermitage and New Hermitage; and see works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Roden, Rembrandt, Rubens, etc. 13.00 Tour of the Church of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood This Church was built between 1883 and 1907 on the site where Emperor Alexander II was fatally wounded in March 1881. The interior was designed by some of the most celebrated Russian artists of the day. The walls and ceilings inside the Church are completely covered in intricately detailed mosaics - over 7500 square meters of it. Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and departure to Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin) for a guided tour of the Catherine palace and park. Located 29 km south of St.Petersburg. Tsarskoye selo became the official summer royal residence in the middle of the 18th century. Catherine palace - a splendid example of the Russian Baroque style - is a stunning royal retreat well-known the world over. The splendor of the palace is magnified by the beautiful park surrounding it. During the tour of the palace you will see elegant state rooms as well as the famous Amber Room. 14:00 Transfer to the Pulkovo Airport 17:00 Departure to Rostov-on-Don 19:40 Arrival in Rostov-on-Don. Breakfast at the hotel. 10:00 - 12:00 City tour of Rostov-on-Don - the capital of the Don region, rich in culture, history and architectural monuments. During the tour you will: • see the fashionable main street Bolshaya Sadovaya with old merchant houses; • cross the border of Europe and Asia; • learn why the left bank of the Don is called "Rostov Las Vegas"; • view the interesting monuments and original sculptural compositions of the Don Embankment and the Don itself - one of the most famous Russian rivers; • visit the city in the city – Nakhichevan (former Armenian settlement) and learn the most interesting facts in the history of the Don region connected with the transfer of Armenians to the Don; • walk along the pedestrian Pushkin street - the stone chronicle of the city. 12:00 - 13:30 Visit to the cultural and exhibition centre "Don Cossack Guard", tour of the centre followed by coffee and Don snacks. 14:00 Departure to Novocherkassk. 15:00 Novocherkassk city tour the 5th Cossack capital. You will see the main church of the Don Cossacks - the Patriarchal Voznesensky All-Rotating Cathedral – and visit Novocherkassk Museum of the History of the Don Cossacks. 17:30 Return to Rostov-on-Don. 08:00 Breakfast at the hotel restaurant followed by departure to the village of Starocherkasskaya. 11:30 Upon arrival at the village - welcome ceremony performed by the folk group: the rite of "Initiation to the Cossacks". A visit to the Ataman Palace including tours of two exhibitions: "History of the Don Cossacks of the XVI-XX centuries" and "Cossack family of Ephraim". 11:30 - 12:30 Walking tour of the village. You will see the main square - Maidan, Cossack trophies of the 17th century Azov campaigns, Cossack smoking houses, ataman courtyard and learn about everyday life, customs and rites of the Cossacks. You will have an opportunity to visit the first stone cathedral on the Don - the Resurrection Military Cathedral - one of the main attractions of Starocherkasskaya village. 12:30 – 13:30 Return to Rostov-on-Don. 13:30 – 14:30 Free time for lunch (self-catering). 14:30 – 15:30 Trip to Azov - the oldest preserved city in the region. 15:30 - 17:00 Visit to the Azov Historical-Archeological and Paleontological Museum-Reserve, tour of the main exposition and the exposition “Treasures of the nomads of Eurasia”. 17:00 - 18:30 City tour of Azov - a compact, cozy and a very green city. Being more than 900 years old it is one of the oldest cities in the Don region. 19:00 Return to Rostov-on-Don. Overnight at the hotel. Read more

Jeg synes du skal vide, at vi har haft en fantastisk ferie i Sankt Petersborg. Hotellet lå et godt sted, havde gode store værelser og fin morgenmad. Vores guide Tanja var altid til tiden, godt forberedt og meget vidende og samtidig rigtig rar. Vores største positive overraskelse var dog almindelige russers hjælpsomhed og venlighed, som vi blev mødt af dagligt på gader og i metroen.
