After breakfast, proceed on a city tour of Accra driving through some principal streets to fascinating vicinities such as the original Accra Township which comes in British, Brazilian, Dutch and Danish Accra. At the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, come face to face with the struggles of Ghana’s independence as you learn about the story of Ghana’s founding father and the African of the millennium, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Further explore historic places such as the Black Star Square, Independent Square, Peace Park and the Danish Christiansburg Castle. Continue to the W.E.B. ABURI BOTANICAL GARDENS
Spend the day exploring the mountainous Aburi town of Ghana. The main attraction here is the Aburi Botanical Garden established in 1890 as a sanitarium. This garden boast of tropical plants some of which were planted by famous world leaders such Queen Elizabeth II of England, among others. Also visit the oldest cocoa farm at Mampong.
