Today you will enjoy a visit to the museum of the illustrious Nicaraguan renowned international poet Ruben Dario who initiated the Spanish-American literary movement known as Modernismo that flourished at the end of the 19th century. This half day tour includes a visit to the Masaya Volcano, the first and largest national park establish in Nicaragua since 1979. This volcanically complex has an area of 54 km² includes two volcanoes and five craters having an elevation of 635 meters about sea level. This geological formation is part of the Quaternary volcanic range and its today, the only volcano in the western hemisphere where you are able to drive to the rim.
