In the morning, private transfer to live a unique adventure in the world, Sandboard the Cerro Negro Volcano! This volcano is an active volcano and the youngest one in Nicaragua. The hike from bottom to top, takes approximately 1 hour, depending on your physical condition. The path is filled with volcanic rocks, narrow spaces, craters, and impressive view. Once at the top, our representative helps you put on the sandboarding equipment and ready to get your adrenaline levels high in a 1 - 3 minutes descent. After the adventure, transfer back to your hotel to take off all the sand, get refreshed, have a good lunch. In the morning, private transfer to boiling muds of San Jacinto. These boiling mud holes are probably connected to the Telica volcano. The site is not big but it is an interesting experience where you walk around them, feel the heat of volcanic activity, appreciate the boiling muds of different size and color. This mud sometimes throws little rocks and mud in the air. After it, we continue our journey towards Esteli city. After midday, you visit a cigar factory to learn about the cigars making process explained by locals passionate about their work. Today is the day to discover the colonial street and buildings of the first city established by conquerors: Granada. History goes back in time from natives to pirates, conquerors and modern life of this colonial place. The majestic yellow cathedral, the bell towers, the port are iconic places. In the afternoon, take a boat tour in Lake Cocibolca and learn about the history of the 365 islets, the Ometepe Island, and of course the lake, which was called "the sweat sea" by the conquerors.
