After a delicious breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Swakopmund. Here you will be transferred to the hotel. Swakopmund (German for "Mouth of the Swakop") is a city on the coast of western Namibia, 280 km (170 mi) west of Windhoek, Namibia's capital. The city is situated in the Namib desert and is the fourth largest population centre in Namibia. The rest of the day is for you decide what to do. Choose from a variety of excursions or just a leisure walk through town. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner. And the oysters are said to be very good. Read more
Today you can enjoy all that Swakopmund and the nearby town Walfisbay has to offer. Walvis Bay (Afrikaans Walvisbaai, German Walfischbucht or Walfischbai, all meaning "Whale Bay") is a city in Namibia and the name of the bay on which it lies. Excursions vary from living desert tour, quad bike tour, catamaran tour, fishing, to name just a few. It is advisable to book these tours in advance to avoid disappointment. Read more
