Meet Pyeongchang on your way!

Day6 Breakfast in hotel and Enjoy your own time in Seoul =) ***Attraction recommended to visit 1st > Gyeongbokgung Palace (Address: 161, Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul) Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces. The premises were once destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (Japanese Invasions, 1592-1598). However, all of the palace buildings were later restored under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during the reign of King Gojong (1852-1919). Remarkably, the most representative edifices of the Joseon Dynasty, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion and Hyangwonjeong Pond have remained relatively intact. Woldae and the sculptures of Geunjeongjeon (The Royal Audience Chamber) represent past sculptures of contemporary art. The National Palace Museum of Korea is located south of Heungnyemun Gate, and the National Folk Museum is located on the eastern side within Hyangwonjeong. ***Attraction recommended to visit 1st > Samcheongdong-gil Road (Address: Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu ~ Seongbuk-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul) Samcheongdong-gil Road goes through the middle of the city, but is a peaceful, charming area. The street is lined with cafes, museums, antique shops and a number of famous art galleries. Since each building along Samcheongdong-gil has its own unique architectural design, taking a walk and appreciating the buildings is a journey in itself. Many galleries have their own cafes, restaurants, or craft shops, allowing visitors to enjoy art, shopping, and lunch all under one roof. Read more

We had so much fun!! We just got back from the 5 day K-Shuttle tour around South Korea. Our guide treated us like her family and made sure that all of our needs were met. The food was incredible and we experienced it all. At each destination we were given the opportunity to eat the food that was popular in that area. Plan on $10-15 a meal for food. You could definitely go with less a meal but if you really want to experience the true cultural experience I would allow for at least this much in your budget. I would be happy to help anyone with questions. Read more

Aloha from Hawaii, Mr. Kim, I am writing you on behalf of all of us who recently took a 5 day-4 night tour of Korea with K-Shuttle starting on October 11 and returning to Seoul on October 15. We wanted to tell you that we were very happy with our experience and for the following reasons: First, we had a terrific guide named Minam Cozad who was so knowledgeable about Korean history and the areas that we traveled to. Also, as part-Koreans, she was so informative for us about the Korean people and their lives. She was also so diligent in making sure that everyone was comfortable and informed. We were also very fortunate in having a large Korean family on tour with us and she enabled all of us to get along so well. Second, Mr. Lee was an excellent bus driver. It was amazing how he manipulated the roadways so well and none of us got road sick. He was polite and caring. We have written to our travel agent, Mrs. Hui Suk Kim of Orient Travel about our experience on K-Shuttle and will also be telling our friends to use your tour service especially if they want a great general experience in Korea. We will be back again and will be sure to use K-Shuttle again. Many thanks to K-Shuttle. Read more
