After breakfast, you will meet with the guide at the hotel and transfer to Santa Lucia hill where our tour begins in Santiago de Chile. The Spanish conqueror Pedro de Valdivia, the founder of the city of Santiago, arrived in this place on 12 February 1540. From the Caupolicán terrace we can admire the
Hidalgo castle (formerly a Spanish fortress) and enjoy a beautiful view of the central and western districts of the city.
The tour continues to Constitution Square and the palace “La Moneda”, the current seat of the government. We walk to “Plaza de Armas”, the main square, surrounded by the Metropolitan Cathedral, the palace of the Royal High Court, the Main Post Office and other buildings of historical interest. The vehicle takes us to San Cristobal hill. On the way we can see the Central Market, the Mapocho Station, the Forestal Park and the Museum of Fine Arts.
Free time on the hill to enjoy a "mote con huesillo", a typical Chilean drink. Transfer back to the hotel.
