This 10 day wildlife tour is a sure way to discover the bush and wildlife experience in Uganda; all the action shall be in western Uganda among thick forests and wide savanah grasslands filled with lots of wild animals. You will visit murchison falls national park (Uganda’s largest wildlife reserve), got to Kibale national park (has the biggest number of primate species in Uganda) and Bwindi forest – home to half of the remaining endagered mountain gorillas.

ITINERARY

Arrive at Entebbe Airport

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport (EBB), you will meet our safari guide who will then transfer you to the booked hotel. Depending on your preferences, A tour of Kampala City can be arranged where you may experience rich cultural history of the Buganda Kingdom from which the name 'Uganda' was derived. You will also visit the Uganda Mosque, Cathedrals, Kings Palace and feel the energy of Kampala's vibrant night life. Read more

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.

Pick up from your overnight accommodation in Kampala by our safari guide. Begin by driving north west of Uganda on a 6-hour road drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, where you will have a nature walk in the breeding home of the rhinos to encounter these endangered species. Lunch along the way and proceed with the journey to the magnificent Murchison falls where you will marvel at the breath taking beauty of the mighty Nile River forced into a seven meter crevice to thunder 43meter’s below in a series of cascades. The sight of the Nile River, the world’s longest river, winding its way through the park and plunging through a narrow gap is unforgettable. Game Drive and Boat Cruise

After an early morning breakfast, embark on a game drive on the northern banks of River Nile. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch take a boat ride on the Nile whilst viewing the animals Hippos and crocodiles, different species of birds. The boat cruise will take you to the foot of the mighty Murchison falls offering great photographic opportunities of the marvel nature. Then head back to the lodge at leisure. Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, You will transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. This Park stands 1,590 meters above sea level. The lowest point is 1,100 meters on the floor of the Albertine Rift Valley to the south and covers 795 square kilometers of beautiful forest. You will have lunch from any hotel enroute. This park is popular for its primates like the chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, red cheeked monkeys, and red tailed monkeys. On your chimpanzee Jungle trails, these are regularly seen swinging in the forest trees and others feeding on the wild fruits. Driving Time is 6 - 7 hours. Read more

CHIMPANZEE TREKKING

This morning after your early breakfast, you will spend most of the morning in the forest in search of chimpanzees. These primates are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but forest walk is an enriching activity that starts at 8.00 am in the morning taking about 4 to 5 hours. This forest is home to a large number of chimpanzees and other primates including Lhoestes, Red-colobus, Blues, Red-tailed, grey cheeked mangabeys, birds, and butterflies. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey.
