DAY 1

Yangon arrival. Half-day city tour

Dear guest! Welcome to Myanmar! Upon your arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Myanmar English-speaking guide and will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon – half-day sigh seeing tour in Yangon. Former capital of Myanmar, Yangon is still keeping the status of the financial, economic and cultural center of the country. Thanks to its distinctive colonial architecture, thriving Chinese and Indian quarters, evergreen parks and picturesque lakes, Yangon has the reputation of one of the most attractive and charming cities in Asia. You will stroll in the downtown area observing impressive colonial-era buildings, will visit Chauk Htet Gyi Reclining Buddha image, one of the biggest in the world, and will enjoy an unforgettable sunset view at the splendid Shwedagon pagoda, the most sacred Myanmar’s temple and the world-famous symbol of the country. DAY 2

Yangon city tour. Transfer to Bagan

After breakfast you will continue discovery of Yangon visiting the National Museum that can boast of its rich collection of the artifacts representing Myanmar’s history and arts. You will continue your city tour to the Botathaung pagoda located on the banks of the Yangon river, and will end excursion on Bogyoke market. Established by the British more than 100 years ago on the image of the famous Convent Garden market in London, Bogyoke market is now the most popular county’s market where you could see all Myanmar traditional handicrafts and souvenirs. DAY 3

Bagan full day sigh seeing

Early morning arrival to Bagan. Transfer to your hotel for refreshment. Breakfast. Full day sigh seeing tour in Bagan. Bagan is one of the world’s three major Buddhist sites, a candidate to inscription into the UNESCO World Heritage list and one of the main symbols of the country, often called “The Heart of Myanmar”. Once the capital of the legendary Pagan Kingdom, Bagan concentrates more than 2000 stupas and temples dated back as early as the 9th century. Thousands of people visit the city every year to admire its extraordinary beauty. You will start your day with the visit of Shwezigon pagoda, built as an important reliquary shrine in Bagan, and will continue to the unique Ananda temple, those look combines features of both traditional Indian and ancient Mon styles and which houses four huge Standing Buddha images oriented strictly to the four cardinal points. You will also make a stop in Anauk Pwa Saw village where you will learn about traditional cotton weaving, and Minanthu village, one of the few remaining centers of the traditional peanut oil production. In the afternoon you will continue to explore the mysterious Bagan visiting, among others, the biggest city's temple Dhammayangyi, and you will enjoy an incredible sunset view over Bagan from one of the scenic spots of the town. DAY 4

Excursion to the Mountain Poppa

After breakfast our excursion to the legendary Mountain Popa starts. Mountain Popa, one of the iconic Myanmar’s sites, is an extinct volcano. On the top of one of its rock is located the sacred monastery Taung Kalat which is considered home for 37 Burmese spirits (or nats). The staircase of 777 steps is leading to the monastery and once the top of the rock reached, you will be awarded with the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding valleys. We would be also glad to offer you a choice: instead of climbing up to the monastery, you could make a pleasant walk in the nearby Mountain Popa National Park and take part in some activities proposed by the park (ex. : horse riding, etc., on supplement). Bagan-Inle lake

Transfer to the Inle lake by day bus (08h30 – 15h30). Free evening and overnight in the hotel on the Inle lake.

Inle lake boat tour

Full day boat tour on the Inle lake. Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar, is situated in the picturesque mountain area in the north-east of the country. Wonderful landscapes, exotic floating gardens and markets and the unique one-leg rowing style of the local people from the Intha tribe made the lake famous all over the world. You will have a full day boat tour around the lake visiting its most prominent landmarks, observing local life, visiting the workshops of the traditional handicrafts and admiring lake’s peaceful landscapes of the rare beauty. Among the “must-see” sites are Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most veneered pagoda of the lake famous for its five gilded images of Buddha; Indein pagoda, a complex of thousands of ancient stupas; and Heya Ywama village, well-known for its traditional handicrafts such as silk weaving, lotus weaving and blacksmith. Inle lake-Pindaya cave-Yangon

In the morning – excursion to the Pindaya cave. Small town of Pindaya is well-known for its attractive lakeside setting, traditional Shan umbrellas and an amazing cave representing a huge maze housing thousands of Buddha images. The images placed in the cave by the numerous pilgrims date back as early as the 18th century. Breathtaking scene! In the evening you will come back to the town of Nyaung Shwe (on the Inle lake) in order to take a night bus to Yangon (19h00 – 06h00). Read more
