Pick up from hotel in Chiang Mai to Lampang, visit Lampang Elephant Conservation Center. Afterwards visit FAE Hospital (Friends of Asian Elephant Hospital), world’s first elephant hospital treating its tusked patients since 1993. Then continue to Thung Kwian forest market, which is very popular among Thais and offers variety of northern Thai food and handicrafts. After that visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, ancient Buddhist temple compound that houses several interesting religious structures, including one of the most beautiful wooden Lanna temples in Northern Thailand – Wihan Luang, dating back to 1476 and thought to be the oldest-standing wooden structure in the country. 12:00 Arrive to Phayao and visit Kwan Phayao, scenic wetland that is a symbol of this quiet and pleasant city. Spend some time by the lake and continue to Chiang Saen. Arrive and check in to your hotel in Chiang Saen in the late afternoon. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. Read more
Breakfast at hotel Pick up from your hotel. Depart to Mae Sai border market, the northernmost point in Thailand situated on the border with Burma where the shops and street stalls are full of Chinese and Burmese handicrafts and antiques. After Mae Sai we will take Mae Salong road to Doi Mae Salong, passing through beautiful mountain scenery. Stunning views from top takes in a large part of Thailand, Burma and the Mekong Valley, here we will visit Akha and Yao Hill tribe Villages and also visit tea plantation and do Tea tasting. In the afternoon we will drive to the heart of the renowned Golden Triangle where the Ruak and Mekong rivers meet. Enjoy a panoramic view from a hilltop overlooking Burma, Laos, Thailand and the mighty Mekong River, then board a local boat for the trip along Mekong River along the three countries (boat trip will take 45 minutes). Return to your hotel in Chiang Saen. Read more
Breakfast at hotel Depart to Chiang Rai and visit the Khun Korn Forest Park with Khun Kon waterfall, located in Nam Tok Khun Kon Forest Park. This 70-meters high waterfall is the most beautiful in Chiang Rai Province. Visit to the national park will include approximately 40 minutes of jungle walk. Remark: The national park fee of THB 400 Nett per person to be paid on spot by the clients directly if any. Continue to visit famous Wat Rong Khun also known as “White Temple”. Walk over a bridge and sculpture of reaching arms to enter the temple where instead of traditional Buddha life scenarios, the artist has painted contemporary scenes representing the realm of rebirth and delusion (samsara) with pop culture characters and events of recent history. Note: Wat Rong Khun is privately owned; therefore the owner sometimes could close the temple for entry without prior notice. PM Arrive to Chiang Rai and check in to your hotel. Breakfast at hotel Departure from Chiang Rai to visit the Chiang Dao Cave at Wat Tham Chiang Dao. The caverns are full of sacred Buddha images and natural cave formations. The main cavern is illuminated by electric lights, while deepest recesses can be explored with oil lanterns. Continue to visit local market at Samoeng and then visit Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden, displaying various exotic and local floras for conservation and research purposes. Highlight of this place is the tropical rainforest glasshouse with indoor waterfall sitting near mountain peak. PM Arrive and check in to your resort at Krisda Doi in the late afternoon. Read more

It showcases some interesting architecture, a couple of fine Buddha images and two old stupas in the original Hariphunchai style. Then visit small market behind the temple selling local products and continues to Chiang Mai, dropping at your hotel in Chiang Mai city. Read more
