SAN PEDRO SULA - TELA - LA CEIBA: After breakfast depart early to the city of Tela and Tour to Jeannette Kawas (Punta Sal) National Park, A fantastic park with abundant bird life, including the Lagoon of Los Micos. In Tela you will go on board of a motorboat which will take you to the Park. En route, with some luck you will see dolphins. There is a 25 minutes hike over flat land to arrive at the very secluded cove of Puerto Escondido, reputed to have been a pirate hang out, where you will aboard the boat back. A masterpiece within the museum is the exact size replica of the famed Rosalila Temple, discovered in 1989. Las Sepulturas Residential Area, Just down the road from Copan. Th is residential site most likely provided housing for Copan nobles. Afternoon Tour to Hacienda San Lucas, starting at your hotel crossing the Copán River you will be taken to a small Archaeological Site called Los Sapos.
