In the afternoon, your tour guide will pick you up by motorbike and give you a ride to Con Market-the largest wholesale and retail venue in the central region, with over 2,000 traders operating there. Various types of goods are sold at the venue to satisfy the increasing shopping demands of the local
residents and tens of thousands of customers are welcomed every day. Sample some local specialties while the market buzzes on around you. Highly recommended are Mi Quang, a flavorful mix of meat, prawns, turmeric noodles and vegetables infused in thick broth and sprinkled with tasty toppings; Banh Xeo (meaning sizzling pancake), a savory pancake made using Rice flour and turmeric powder stuffed with pork, beansprouts, shrimp and herbs accompanied by a special Da Nang dipping sauce; or Da Nang’s version of a Northern favorite-Bun cha ca (fish cake noodle soup), fish cake, herbs and noodles in a fruity fragrant broth. Absolutely not to be missed is a taste of the unique sweet soups of Da Nang, which include ingredients such as lotus seed and peas, mixed together. We know it sounds strange, but actually it’s more like a desert than a soup and believe us it tastes so good that most foreigners like, or even love it! The cooking methods of these sweet treats have been perfected over many generations; you certainly will not forget the taste of sweet soup here. We save the best for last, on the final stop of this tour we will ride on to Da Nang’s most famous seafood street which is not far from the stunning My Khe Beach. Find out what all the fuss is about by digging in to a delicious selection of fresh shellfish dishes, which are perfectly complimented by a beer. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Da Nang.
