Early morning bird watching. Breakfast. Navigating the Cuyabeno river back to El Puente. Box Lunch. Transfer to Lago Agrio. Return to Quito by bus or plane (16h00).
We will start at the parking lot in order to ascend the to the First Refugee of the volcano (4810 m. a.s.l). You can rest and eat some hot soup at the refugee or continue the ascent to the Glaciers (depending on weather conditions).

AM - Pick-up from Baltra Island Airport and transfer to Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz Island) for lunch. At 2:00pm (subject to changetravel to Isabela Island via public speedboat (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours). PM - At Puerto Villamil check-in at the hotel and visit the Flamingos Lagoon. AM - Early in the morning, head for a hike for 4 hours hike to Sierra Negra Volcano, the world’s second largest volcanic crater, measuring 6 miles in diameter and 300 feet deep. Hike towards the crater and enjoy the view. Continue to Volcan Chico, a still active volcano which warms the surrounding grounds. (Box lunch provided). PM - Spend the afternoon snorkeling in Concha Perla with sea lions, colorful varieties of fish, and sea turtles (snorkeling equipment included: tube, mask, fins). Read more
AM. First we will make our way to the dock of Puerto Villamil. After a short ride we will arrive at Tintoreras Islet. The name of the islet derives from the sharks that inhabit in the waters surrounding the islet, the famous white-tipped fins Tintorera Sharks. PM. Humedales is one of the most fascinating places on Isabela Island. Galapagos sea lions,marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, Sally Lightfoot Crabs, sea turtles, pelicans, and Galapagos Penguins can all be found in this site. Read more
AM - At 6am take the public speedboat towards Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island (2 hours). After a short rest, head to the highlands of Santa Cruz for a hike along Cerro Chato Reserve (2 hours approx.). The adventure starts at Santa Rosa through endemic vegetation, rocks, and some mud lagoons. Spot the Galapagos Giant Tortoises, Galapagos Finches, Bird Wizard. PM - In the afternoon, visit the Ch. Darwin Research Station, and observe colorful land iguanas and a large variety of Galápagos Giant tortoises brought from the most important islands in the archipelago. Read more
Transfer to Baltra Airport. On the way out, stop by “The Twins” a.k.a. “The Gemelos”. Tour ends upon the arrival to the airport to catch plane to either Quito or Guayaquil.
Flight (9:15 am) or bus (trip the night before the tour – 8 hours) to Lago Agrio. Private land transportation from Lago Agrio to El Puente. Canoe trip down the Cuyabeno river to our lodge. Lunch. Visit the Laguna Grande to swim and enjoy the sunset. Dinner. Exciting night walk.
Breakfast. Paddle in a traditional canoe on Laguna Caimancocha to enjoy the uniqueness of nature. Lunch at the camp. Hike in the primary forest including lessons on the use of medicinal plants for survival. Before returning to camp, relaxing time in the Laguna Grande, where you can swim and enjoy the sunset. If conditions permit, you may be able to see pink dolphins. Return to lodge. Dinner. Read more
Breakfast. Visit the Community Siona Tarapuy where the naturalist guide will explain about the culture and traditions of native people. Lunch. Walk. Return to camp. Dinner. Night canoe expedition in search of alligators.
After breakfast, we will departure from the Manatee and transfer back to Coca (two-hour canoe ride); return flight to Quito.
The old Quito, step into the beautiful colonial churches and get some neat bites of history and art. Then move southern from the center towards the Middle of the World and finish our tour observing a panoramic view of Quito.
Transfer out to Mariscal Sucre Airport.
