Deriving its name from 'Vayal' meaning paddy fields and 'Naad' meaning lands is the least populated district of Kerala. It encapsulates breathtaking beauties of Western Ghats. The antiquated caves and exotic wilderness are some of the most popular tourist attractions here. The culture and cuisine at Wayanard is also gripping. Wayanard really adds to Kerala for being God's own country. Bamboo Banks is a 40 acre farm nestling at the foothills of the Nilgiris besides the Avarhalla Stream, in the Mudumalai Game Reserve. Its enchanting setting with spectacular views and a salubrious climate surrounded by abundant and varied flora and fauna of this region makes Bamboo Banks an ideal getaway. Imagine waking at the crack of dawn and setting forth for the experience of your life. Witnessing the wild rousing from its slumber is a life changing experience. The forests of the Nagarahole National Park (Rajiv Gandhi National Park) near Kabini abound in herds of elephant, sambar and spotted deer, wild boar, sloth bear, gaur and the occasional tiger and panther. It’s not for nothing that the locale of this resort was once the Maharaja’s favourite hunting ground.

Pick from Calicut Airport. Visit Pookode Lake on the way. Resort Checkin and Visit Banasura Sagar Dam in the evening. Overnight at Wayanad Petals Resort.

Start around 6 am and Visit Chembra Peak, and Soochipara waterfalls (around 2km walk towards the falls and spend time 1-2 hours). Back to resort. Overnight at Wayanad Petals Resort.

Jain Temple & Edakkal caves

Start around 7 am and Visit Sultan Bethary Jain temple and Visit Edakkal Caves (3 hours including the climb) and afternoon 3 pm slot visit Muthunga Wildlife sanctuary and transfer to Bamboo Banks Masinagudi. Overnight at Masinagudi Bamboo Banks.

Mudumalai National Park

Start around 6 am and visit Mudumalai National Park for 7 am slot safari, around 30 minutes from Bamboo Banks Masinagudi. Rest of the day relax at Bamboo banks. Overnight at Bamboo Banks.

Kabini Dam & Nagarhole Park

Start around 7 am and transfer to Kabini Red Earth resort. On the way visit Kabini dam and checkin at the resort. Have lunch and Visit Nagarhole National Park in the afternoon 3 pm slot. Back to resort. Overnight at Kabini Red Earth Resort.

  • - 2 night accommodation in 3 cottages with jacuzzi and breakfast, lunch and dinner in Red Earth Resort Kabini. One Safari in Rajiv Gandhi National Park on sharing basis. Government Entry Fees included.
  • - AC Innova car with 1600 km limit and inclusive of fuel, driver allowances, toll, interstate tax and parking.

  • - Any Airfare or Insurance or meals than those mentioned above.
  • - Any entrances fees, boating charges. Entrance tickets to national parks except if mentioned, waterfalls, chembra peak, other sightseeing points etc to be paid directly by the customer.
  • - Any expenses of personal nature such as drinks, telephone, and laundry bills etc.
  • - Any tips and porter charges.
  • - Any additional expenses incurred due to any flight delay or cancellation, weather conditions, political closures, technical faults etc.
  • - Anything not mentioned in above Tour Package Inclusions

  • Any change in the taxes / park entrances by the Karnataka government will be notified in advance and will be applied with immediate effect for all bookings yet to operate. The same will have to be paid in advance or at time of check-in. The safari charges are non-refundable. All safari bookings are subject to availability and Government Rules. Red Earth Resort will take every effort to ensure that our guests have the best wildlife experience. However, we have limitations as it is managed by the forest authorities
  • Minimum 6 persons are required for this trip. We can provide custom quote for less or more no of travelers. Child below 4 yrs is complimentary. Please check price of child at the time of booking. Once you confirm the booking, we will recheck availability and block the rooms. In case the required hotel is not available, we will provide alternate option. Once payment is made, we will provide list of good restaurants, etc.
