Let’s start with Yangon, a city crowned by the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Our experienced guide will meet and welcome you at the Airport. Visit World famous Shwedagon Pagoda (2600 years old). Overnight at hotel.
No holiday to Myanmar would be complete without a visit to the temple-studded plains of Bagan. The sheer number of ancient structures is at once baffling and awe-inspiring. Our guide will explain the contours of history surrounding each temple, framing the significance of their existence. At each temple, you must remove your shoes and socks before entering. Morning flight to Bagan, ancient city of over 4000 temples. We start visit with top temples; Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple (Wetkyiinn). Htilominlo Temple, Ananda temple which is almost a thousand years old and done in an entirely different style. Afternoon observation toLacquerware workshop. In the evening, we will visit to Myin Kabar Bagan Cultural Village, Horse card ride around the temples, Sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda; follow the steps up to one of the high terraces for a great view out over the plains. Visit to Mahamuni Buddha Image (Exalted Saint Buddha Image heavily gilded with gold leaf brought over from Arakan State in 1784), Afternoon visit Kuthodaw Pagoda (the world biggest book), ShweKyaung (Golden Monastery), Kyauktawgyi Pagoda (huge Buddha image) and sunset at U Bein’s Bridge, Wooden Bridge of 200 years old). Arrive and transfer to Inle .Today you will have Amazing Time in your memory to visit Inle lake (nestled amidst hazy blue mountains is the beautiful Inle Lake 900 meter above sea level) where you can study Inthar tribes’ and their ways of life. Boat trip to Inle Lake sightseeing including PhaungDawOo Pagoda (Holly 5 Buddha Images); Floating Gardens & Plantation, Bird Watching, NgaPheChaung Monastery (Jumping Cats), Cheroot Making, Silversmith, black smith workshop, local silk weaving factory on the lake and where they still use old style hand looms. A very good trip we would like to recommend hotel in Bagan with fantastic View,This resort is very well located in old Bagan with easy access to the temples. Restaurant is good with variety. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Nice large swimming pool. The Bar area overlooks the pool and provides a snack/light menu through the day. Read more
we went on a 15 days trip in myanmar. the itinerary was all planned out according to where we want to go and what we should see. the plan was wonderful. the different guides we got in different cities were AMAZING!!!! we visited yangon, bagan, mandalay, inle lake and back to yangon. transportations were all covered for. the guides even went extra miles to confirm our flight, talked to our coach company and makes sure were were in good hands. The guides also check that our hotel is ok for us etc, always making sure we are safe and happy. i coouldn't thank Zema more because i am so grateful to have engaged their service and get to see this beautiful country and people! This is a holiday of memories to last. Enchanting gentle people, beautiful countryside, amazing temples, vibrant markets,crafts and long past building and agricultural practises. Our wonderful guide Win Win shared all this with us, led us on walks through lovely hillside villages,thoughtfully getting our driver to find me a bamboo stick, visiting houses, drinking green tea, watching back strap weaving and the next family meal being prepared. A balloon trip at Bagan was was quite magical, the mist rolling away to reveal the temples. Finally in Nyaung Shwe, shopping in the market with Myo for the ingredients for our cookery class.
