Our representative will greet you at Yangon Airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in. Soon in the morning, we will begin our visit to Yangon, the main city of Myanmar, the most populated and active, but which ceased to be capital in 2005 (Myanmar's capital is Nay Pyi Daw, purely administrative capital). One of Yangon's main activities is to stroll around downtown to admire colonial-era buildings (especially around the street and Pansodam Square), as well as numerous food stalls and consumables of all kinds. According to the time we will find different markets, but the common denominator will be the great activity and mixture of cultures and religions of the old Rangoon. Then, we will be headed to the great reclining Buddha Chauk Htat Gyi, before reaching the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most important and revered religious monument in the country. Overnight in Yangon. In the morning, transfer to Yangon Airport for your flight to Bagan. Arrive Bagan and transfer to your hotel. We start the day in one of the most famous and impressive archaeological sites in Asia, the Temples of Bagan (11th to 13th centuries). Points of interest include temples and the most beautiful and ancient pagodas such as Shwezigon, Wetkyi-in-Gubyaukgyi; Ananda; And Ananda Ok Kyaung and the millennial paintings of the kyansittna Umin. After a lunch break, we will visit the traditional lacquering artisans, on a private tour where we can learn about this unique technique from Myanmar. We will continue visiting one of the most amazing pagodas and temples of the place, like the Dhammayangyi Pahto. Finally, we will witness a memorable sunset on top of a mountain selected by our guide. * Note: Since September 2017, it is totally forbidden to contemplate the sunset on top of a pagoda * Between the visits to the temples, at 11:00 pm, we will go to a local monastery, little crowded, where about 130 monks stand in line daily and pray before taking their lunch. Monks pile fascinating fossils of trees thousands of years old (and great value). Overnight in Bagan. Read more

Today we will drive for an hour to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano on top of which is Taung Kalat temple. Mount Popa is famous for being the religious abode of the Nats (the spirits of the gods), also for its panoramic view of the local tropical region. To do this, they must climb their 777 stairs. Along the way, we will make short stops at some points to admire the view or local crops. For example, in a small village called Sin Luu, where we can walk and mingle with the inhabitants, always friendly and willing to teach us their houses, crops and trades. * Optional (with supplement costs will be offered upon request) We will walk and we will go to its small monastery, where an exquisite food will be served to us. With the benefits of our food, we support the small school that is right next door, and of course we will have opportunity to visit. Also on the way (round trip), we will stop to know the products derived from the palm trees, as well as the crops located in the surroundings, among which stand out peanuts, sesame or beans. In addition, we will enjoy a small aperitif made with tasty products typical of this region. Noche en Bagan. Read more
