Today we will drive for an hour to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano on top of which is Taung Kalat temple. Mount Popa is famous for being the religious abode of the Nats (the spirits of the gods), also for its panoramic view of the local tropical region. To do this, they must climb their 777 stairs.
the way, we will make short stops at some points to admire the view or local crops. For example, in a small village called Sin Luu, where we can walk and mingle with the inhabitants, always friendly and willing to teach us their houses, crops and trades.
