Langtang Gosaikunda Trek takes you through the typical Tamang village surrounded by beautiful Himalayan peaks. The trail ascends all the way up to the sacred lake Gosaikunda on a clear day spectacular views of Langtang Ganesh Himal, the Manaslu and Annapurna ranges can be seen from Lauribina.

Early morning after having breakfast transfer your Bus station to start your journey towards Sayabrubesis, along the bus journey you will drive through beautiful village and you will see snow Scapped Mountain along the langtang Himalaya and it will make your trekking become pleasant and touch your heart. The trail branches off sayabrubesis main road by a police post where you will need to register trekking permit and crosses a suspension bridge over the Bhotekoshi River. Turn right at the eastern end of the bridge and climb through the village of Old sayasbru to cross bridge to the south side of Langtang Khola. The trek become pleasant walk through tree where langur monkeys frolic, passing a bridge a small waterfall bhatties (village inns) beside the stream at Dovan(1680m) the trail then make steep uphill over rocky ridge to the easily missed junction, where the route from thulo sayasbru join from over. Long uphill forest past the waterfall and couples of lodge in pairo meaning of landside; 1800m to Bamboo a cluster hotel at 1930m. Beyond Bamboo the trail crosses Dangdung Khola then uphill to still suspension bridge over the langtang Khola. On the north bank of langtang Khola the route uphill alongside series of waterfalls and arrive in Changtang famous known as Lama Hotel (2480m) overnight here. Read more
The trail continues to climb through forest, with occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung between the trees. At Ghora Tabela (3,000 m. / 9,842 ft) the trail emerges from the forest and the mountains loom on either side of the valley. Once there was a Tibetan resettlement project here, but now it is a Nepal Army post with no permanent inhabitants. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer. You will probably glimpse your first yak if you haven’t already. Read more

We spend the whole day exploring Tserko Ri which will also help us acclimatize to the high altitude. We begin early in the morning. The trail passes through yak pastures before ascending to Tserko Ri. The sunrise view from the top of Tserko Ri is extraordinary. We get back to Kyangjin Gompa by late afternoon and explore the beautiful monastery while enjoying views of the Himalayas, glaciers, birds and yaks. Read more
The trail walk downhill to sayabrubesis via langtang, Ghoratabela on the same trail you will uphill before and trail follow the valley and connect the Gosaikunda Trek, take left branches at the junction just before Dovan and climb uphill to Thulo sayabrubesis. Overnight at here
We begin our trek with a climb up to the Rimche Village. From here we descend to the banks of the Langtang Khola. We continue on an easy trail to Bamboo and begin ascending to Landslide Lodge. From here we continue our trek to Thulo Syabru. There are two trails as we cross another bridge. We follow the one that passes by Pahare hotel and a waterfall at 2210 m to reach Thulo Syabru. Today will be a short walk but it is important to not reach Gosaikunda today because the steady gain in altitude will help us acclimatize better to the high altitude. After trekking for a while we pass by a chorten and a checkpoint. From the checkpoint, we move south and pass by Garta Village and Phulung Monastery before reaching Shin Gompa to spend the night. After morning breakfast in Chandan Bari sing Gompa the trail slightly goes uphill to Gosaikunda via Lauribinayak. Along the trails past rhododendron and pine forest trees and vista of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Manaslu range, Hiunchuli and Tibetan peak is high lights of the adventure, you trek towards Gosaikunda (4,361m) and overnight here. Morning breakfast in Chandan Bari Sing Gompa, trail directly drops you to downhill to Dhunche via small village of Ramche and other village along the route. Today your journey will be more enjoyable and beautiful, walking through rhododendron, pine trees and Himalayan Bamboo. Finally arrive in Dhunche and celebrate your last night accommodation with your adventure staff. Read more
Drive back to Kathmandu. We have lunch on the way to Kathmandu. Shop some souvenir for dear ones back home and enjoy last hours in Nepal. Stay overnight at hotel.

Tout d'abord un grand merci à Rajendra. Malgré nos changements de date répétés, Rajendra a pu organiser de la meilleure façon possible notre trek et répondre à nos demandes. Ce trek s'est magnifiquement déroulé dans la très belle région qu'est le Mustang. Nous y avons fait de belles rencontres, certainement grâce à notre tout jeune guide Ngawa de 23 ans qui parle bien le français. Celui-ci nous a fait découvrir de très jolis endroits notamment une petite grotte en montant vers Lori Gompa qui bientôt ne sera plus accessible. Nous avons apprécié également notre tout jeune porteur "Guelbu", discret et très attentionné. Merci à Ngawa et à Guelbu pour le très bon déroulement du trek et merci encore à Rajendra pour l'organisation, pour notre accueil à l'arrivée à l'aéroport et son accompagnement à notre départ. Friends Adventure Team organised trekking to the Everest Base Camp for our group (8 people). Their packages includes everything (all transfers, hotel in Kathmandu, local flight, trekking permissions, meal in Kathmanu and on the track) and that's extremely handy, you don't need to worry about anything during your travel. The guides were very nice guys, who helped us on the route. On the way to Lukhla, the weather conditions wasn't good and the planes wasn't able to fly. And the company organised a helicopter transfer with pretty reasonable additional pay. Nepal is not the most organised country, but all depending on the Friends Adventure Team was done really well.
