Start your 4 days trip in north-eastern Slovenia in beautiful Jeruzalem vineyards and taste the wines. Next day visit the oldest Slovenian town, Ptuj and it's oldest wine cellar, hidden under ground. Later travel to Ljubljana, the capital city, taste the wines from Slovenian Tuscany and see the Ljubljana culture. It's time to visit western Slovenia - Postojna caves, Karst and village Goče. In last day you will see Slovenian seaside.
Arrival to Slovenia and driving to north-eastern Slovenia, to charming village among rolling hills, Jeruzalem. Enchanted by magical landscape visit of Kupljen wine cellar with wine tasting. Overnight in lovely tourist farm Hlebec with dinner and wine tasting.
In the morning departure to Ptuj, the oldest Slovenian town. Discover the idyllic city and its biggest treasure, hidden under ground – the oldest Slovenian wine cellar with great multimedia presentation. After tasting of wines time for lunch. Departure to Ljubljana. Visit of Vinoteka Movia in Ljubljana and tasting wide varities of wines from Slovenian Tuscany. Then stroll through the city for a taste of Ljubljana culture. Overnight. Departure to Karst region. En route stop in famous Postojna caves and drive by cave train. Karst, natural phenomenon which is so obvious and authentic just in Slovenia and nowhere else you will have chance to explore it again, through Karst villages. Karst have special settlements adapted to specific life and weather conditions. We will explore some of those villages; try some local wine teran and top specialty – air-dried ham pršut. Continue driving to medieval village of Stanjel, most typical karst settlements with unique church, Ferrari garden and medieval castle. Finish of the trip will be in fantastic village Goče, known as the most basement village in the world. Slow food menu at Cejkotova home which is hidden in the narrow streets of the village, which is protected as a monument of the cultural heritage. Here, Davorin and his wife Jelka will prepare you delicious meal and take you to a wine cellar with such mystic atmosphere will be just perfect conclusion of your trip and great memories which you will take home with you. Morning sightseeing of Piran, medieval town with maze of its narrow streets. Continue to Slovenian Istria and truffle experience with truffle hunting demonstration, truffle tasting and peak of the trip: cooking lesson of truffle dish. Back to Ljubljana or Ljubljana airport.
