The program includes the main destinations (Mandalay, Bagan, Inle and Yangon) and extension Kyaing Tong. Kyaing Tong: Specialize for it´s various colourful tribes (Ah Khar, Ann, etc) , nature and trekking. The trip is possible throughout the trip, but rainy seasons from May to September is quite complicated for Kyaing Tong trekking trip with mud and rains, but preference is less tourists and very green.



Our representative will welcome you to Mandalay Airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in. Mandalay, the last capital of the Konbaung dynasty, until its fall in 1885 in the hands of the British. Even today, Mandalay is the religious and cultural center of the country, offering a true aftertaste of the oldest Asia and more deeply Buddhist beliefs. We will continue with other points of interest of Mandalay like the sacred Pagoda of Mahamuni, and its Buddha covered by tons of gold, and some of the oldest relics of Buddhism that can be found there. Also the exquisite monastery carved in wood Shwenandaw, or the extraordinary pagoda of Kuthodaw, and its hundreds of stupas that contain in its interior the biggest open book of the world, that is of marble leaves. Breakfast at hotel, in the morning we will visit the market of Jade stone, the most important of a country that owns more than 80% of the world's reserves of this precious stones. Later, we will visit another former royal capital, Inwa, which was founded in 1364 and was the royal capital for nearly 400 years. Highlights here include the ‘leaning tower of Ava’, Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, which was built by masonry as opposed to most other monasteries which are built with wood, and the elegant teakwood Bagaya Monastery. We then continue to Sagaing, which was the capital of the Shan Kingdom in the 14th Century and briefly the capital in the 18th Century, as part of the Konbaung Dynasty. The town is located slightly downriver from Mandalay and has many interested stupas scattered over Sagaing Hill. Finally, we visit the ancient royal capital of Amarapura. Here, we will visit the Mahagandayon monastery, which is a school for young monks, and beautiful sunset from U Bein Bridge, which is more than two-hundred years old and is the longest teakwood bridge in the world. At 05:00 in the morning we will go to the pier to check-in. At 06:00, we will embark on our journey along the Irrawaddy River to arrive at Bagan at 17:00. Along the way, we stop to visit one of the typical villages on the banks of the river. The friendly crew will also give us cooking classes and teach us some of the secrets of their culture. After breakfast at the Hotel, visit Nyaung U local market to witness the local products of this dry special region. Later, we start the day in one of the most famous and impressive archaeological sites in Asia, the Temples of Bagan (11th to 13th centuries). Points of interest include temples and the most beautiful and ancient pagodas such as Shwezigon, Wetkyi-in-Gubyaukgyi; Ananda; And Ananda Ok Kyaung and the millennial paintings of the kyansittna Umin. After a lunch break, we will visit the traditional lacquering artisans, on a private tour where we can learn about this unique technique from Myanmar. We will continue visiting one of the most amazing pagodas and temples of the place, like the Dhammayangyi Pahto. Finally, we will witness a memorable sunset selected by our guide. * Between the visits to the temples, at 11:00 pm, we will go to a local monastery, little crowded, where about 130 monks stand in line daily and pray before taking their lunch. After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch our flight to Heho, in the picturesque and abundant Shan State. Then transfer to Nyaung Shwe where we will embark on a private boat on the beautiful Inle Lake. Away from the masses of tourists and souvenir shops, we will seek the authenticity of the Lake passing near the local villages of the Lake. The aim is to see the lifestyle of the majority of Inle inhabitants, fishermen and farmers who work with great skill on the beautiful waters and floating crops. We will pass through the most picturesque corners such as the Monastery of Ngaphe Chaung, whose monks have very ancient relics, and that we chose for their privileged situation, with their beautiful views to the floating crops of the lake. We will visit the Inpawkhone village, where you can see how the silk fabric and lotus flower traditionally made by hand and with looms are made. For this area we will also stop to enjoy how the shipyards manufacture in a totally handmade way the ships that sail by Inle. We will also sail to the famous Paung Daw Oo pagoda with five Buddha images (four of them are taken from the temple at the great Paung Daw Oo festival). Finally we will return to the hotel passing through the floating gardens to make the best photos while the sunset gives us surprising changes of color of a landscape that is a world heritage site. Breakfast at the Hotel. We will sail towards the 17th century pagoda of Indein, crossing some of the narrow streams and famous floating gardens to reach the densest areas of the lake. In this area, we have an exclusive route, passing through the small town Pa O (ethnic minority) of Netaw from the old jetty, walking about 30 minutes up the hill, and passing the beautiful bamboo forest. After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Kyaing Tong. Arrive Kyaing Tong and transfer to your hotel. Sightseeing in Kyaing Tong starts with Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, housing Mandalay style Buddha image. Proceed to Shan Lacquer ware. Then visit Standing Buddha image, (the place where Kyaing Tong was founded about one thousand year ago), Hot spa, Akha centre village and R.C.M church. Enjoy sunset at the one tree Hill, where alone 245 years old Kanyin-byu (Diptero carpus Spp) tree stands. The tree was planted by Alaungmintaya, the founder of Third Myanmar Empire. After breakfast, we visit to the central market. Then take the car about 50 minutes and trek about 1 ½ hours to arrive “Ho Kyin” villages, typical Akha tribe villages. From here continue for another 30 minutes to Na Phi Phank village, where Lahu and Akha village and to “Pang Ma Phai” Akha tribe village to learn more about their daily life. Breakfast at the hotel; take the car about 45 minutes for a hiking tour into the Pin Tauk area. Lush mixed monsoon forest with a view to the plain rice fields looking like a huge, green patchwork blanket. Visit the villages of Akha and Enn tribes. Some are haptized, some tribes still animists. The Enn are an ethnic group which tourists have found particularly interesting labeling them the “Black Teeth”. The walk is not difficult and can be done slowly. They live on the higher slopes. They have distinctively different costumes and beliefs from the other tribes. It will take about 4 hours to visit the villages. Take lunch at Pin Tauk water fall. DAY 10


After breakfast, drive to Loimwe approach 2 hours’ drive 33km away from Kyaing Tong. Loimwe which literally translated means “misty mountain” is at an altitude of over 1600 meters above sea-level. It commands a magnificent view of the surrounding area remain many Colonial buildings and also a Catholic Church. The main attraction along the way is the scenery on the ascent to Loimwe, which passes through forests, terraced rice fields. On the way to Loimwe you will have several stops to visit different villages. Wan Lun Shan villages, walk and explore the native villages life; Ho Lup Akha village where you can see the traditional Akha tribes with their colorful dresses; Nang Cho Wa villages and Panwai Lahu villages on the left and right side of the road. DAY 11


Breakfast at the hotel, visit to central market which bustles daily from 6 to 11:00 in the morning. The market offers products from China & Thailand, and also it has local traditional clothing, antique coins and other implements for sale making good souvenirs. Then proceed to Naung Tong Lake and the Wat Lom Kham Pagoda, where scared hair relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined in it. Legend says Wat Lom Kham dates to a visit by Gacutama Buddha. If features a tall gilded stupa topped by a gold umbrella inlaid with silver, rubies, diamonds, sapphires and jade and hung with gold tinny bells. Overnight at Kyaing Tong. Read more

Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to Yangon. Arrive Yangon and transfer to your hotel. Yangon, the main city of Myanmar, the most populated and active, but it ceased to be capital in 2005 (Myanmar's capital is Nay Pyi Daw, purely administrative capital). One of Yangon's main activities is to stroll around downtown to admire colonial-era buildings (especially around the street and Pansodan Square) as well as numerous food stalls and consumables of all kinds. According to the time we will find different markets, but the common denominator will be the great activity and mixture of cultures and religions of the old Rangoon.
