Breakfast at the hotel. First stop will be Sadan Cave, full of Buddha images and even a reclining Buddha. On the way back to the cave, a natural tunnel comes into view. Follow the row of lights through the tunnel for about 15 minutes to get to the other side. Then reach the end through a natural tunnel
for a gorgeous view of a hidden lake and meadow come into sight. From here, embark on a local boat for a tour around the lake and through another cave accessible only by boat. Then head off to see Zwe Kapin, one of many bizarre limestone formations in the area. At the foot of the mountain, head toward Lumbini Gardens to observe thousands of identical Buddha statues. Then continue to Kyauk Kalat Pagoda, a small stupa perched on top of a club-like rock formation on a small island in a lake. Continue the drive for one hour to Mawlamyine, the Mon State capital. Situated near the mouth of the Thanlwin River, this attractive town is surrounded by leafy, tropical areas and has a hilly ridge serving as a backdrop. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
