Arrival at Hanoi

Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. You’ll have time to relax after your journey. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.

Cycling to the countryside

In the morning, you’ll cruise on the Perfume River to enjoy the beautiful landscape and the famous Buddha temple. From there, you’ll collect your bicycles to ride through Hue’s rural villages to cycle along a country lane to one of the handicraft villages in Hue’s. Lunch will be prepared on box to make the trip so flexibility. The trip will be followed to the green field’s path roads with many stops on the way for your camera shooting and a chance to speak up with the local to understand more about Vietnamese culture. Get to the Ancient Town

Get to the Ancient Town A classic day cycling, ride as much or as little as desired. You’ll drive by bus beyond the city limits of Hue out to the coast before beginning the ride off the beaten track along a picturesque, very narrow peninsular road. Cycle in the shade of coconut trees, stop to explore the hundreds of ancestral tombs scattered in the large sand dunes. The gradient is manageable and the views breathtaking! You’ll then be transferred the rest of the way to Hoi An, a delightful old trading town and UNESCO World Heritage Site for your overnight stay. Read more

Organic discovery tour

After breakfast, you will cycle through rural village to a local family. After a welcome drink of freshly picked fruits, you stroll around to learn about the history and customs of this charming village. You also walk through gardens where hundreds of local farmers working using traditional methods of hundreds of years ago. You’ll then be equipped a farming tool to join the farmers in preparing the land for sewing. Your guide will explain traditional farming methods while you help fertilize the garden using riverweed from a local river, and then water it using huge tin cans strapped to our back. Time is then spent picking vegetables and herbs, learning how to cover them to prevent damage. After that, you’ll enjoy the delicious local food before getting back to the town on your bikes. You will be transferred to Cu Chi Tunnels to be ready for your biking day. You will ride the back roads and hidden dirt trails to escape the crowds and bus tourists and to see the real Southern Vietnam. You will have a light snack after finishing a half of the cycling trip. You will explore Cu Chi Tunnels, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel system, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.), a firing range and much more before getting back to the hotel for your overnight stay. In June 2015 I traveled to Vietnam with a group planning to visit Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. We wanted as many varied experiences as possible - and Mr. Vinh happily obliged. He arranged everything for us and the trip was perfect! We spent several days in Hanoi in nice, but affordable accommodations and were able to explore the city and local environment. We traveled to the Mekong Delta and had a wonderful experience meeting local people and traveling by bicycle and motorbike as well as by boat. We spent 2 days and a night on a junk on Halong Bay with kayaking and swimming as our main activities. Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City afforded even more adventures. Through it all, Mr. Vinh was available to us and had set an itinerary that allowed us to experience Vietnam in a way most travelers probably don’t. I highly recommend Mr. Vinh and his company for any trip you might plan to Vietnam. As a matter of fact, his services are one of the reasons you should plan a trip to Vietnam.
