Arrive Nairobi, Kenya

On your first day, upon arrival Nairobi, Kenya, you are met by Hallmark Travel Planners representatives. They escort you to your hotel for the rest of the day and night. You are booked on Bed and Breakfast. Overnight at the Tamarind Tree Hotel.

Nairobi

Fly Nairobi - Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Maasai Mara. You fly across the Rift Valley and arrive the Maasai Mara in the mid-morning. Pick up from the airstrip and transfer to the lodge for lunch. After lunch there is a game drive in the reserve searching for Elephant, Bufallo, Rhino and the magnificent Black-maned lion. . Maasai Mara’s main attraction is the annual migration, which takes place between July and September. Over a million wildebeest, more than two hundred thousand zebra with their attendant predators cross the Mara River and spread across the plains in a seemingly endless procession. The game drive runs till sunset. Accommodation is in a comfortable permanent tented camp or lodge. After dinner at your lodge, relax around the campfire and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the African night full of cries of the wild. Read more

Safari Activities in the Res

At 0630 hours, take your morning coffee and proceed on the early morning game drive running till 0830 hours when you get back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, further game drive till lunch time. Rest in the early afternoon till 1630 hours when you proceed on the afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Tented Camp. The alternative arrangement is to have a full day of safari activities with picnic lunches. Read more

On your last day in the Mara, wake up early for the early morning safari drive. This will be followed by breakfast, before you check out of the luxury tents and head for the airstrip for the flight to Serengeti. You will leave with picnic lunch boxes. The flight from the Mara will drop you off at the Migori Airstrip where you will be picked up for a 30 minute road transfer to the border point for immigration and customs procedures. Another 30-minute transfer follows, taking you to Tarime Airstrip for the flight into Serengeti. You arrive Serengeti and enjoy a short safari on the way to the camp. Today will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour.
