AM - Arrive at San Cristobal Island Airport. Fist visit the Interpretation Center with a guided explanation - Snorkel and Hike in Frigate Hill and Punta Carola – Get some time to relax at the beach. Activities of the day include snorkel and a short hike.
In the morning, you'll hike in the Highlands and visit various viewpoints while getting close ecoutner with Galapagos wildlife. “Mirador de la Soledad” is the first srop, where we you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Island. Then head to Junco Lagoon, the only fresh water lagoon in San Cristobal. Lunch will be served in the Highlands and will be followed by a short stop at Playa de Puerto Chino. PM - On your way back, visit El Progreso and learn and taste a bit of the famous Galapagos coffee. Read more
AM - At 6am take the public speedboat towards Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island (2 hours). After a short rest, head to the highlands of Santa Cruz for a hike along Cerro Chato Reserve (2 hours approx.). The adventure starts at Santa Rosa through endemic vegetation, rocks, and some mud lagoons. Spot the Galapagos Giant Tortoises, Galapagos Finches, Bird Wizard. PM - In the afternoon make it a 45 min. hike towards the beautiful white sand beach Tortuga Bay. Read more
AM - In the afternoon, visit the Ch. Darwin Research Station, and observe colorful land iguanas and a large variety of Galápagos Giant tortoises brought from the most important islands in the archipelago. PM - At 14h00 get transfered to Isabela Island by public speed boat and there visit the largest coastal lagoon of Galapagos Flamingos. Read more
AM - Early in the morning, head for a hike for 4 hours hike to Sierra Negra Volcano, the world’s second largest volcanic crater, measuring 6 miles in diameter and 300 feet deep. Hike towards the crater and enjoy the view. Continue to Volcan Chico, a still active volcano which warms the surrounding grounds. (Box lunch provided). PM - Spend the afternoon snorkeling in Concha Perla with sea lions, colorful varieties of fish, and sea turtles (snorkeling equipment included: tube, mask, fins). Read more
AM - get ready to visit to Tintoreras Islet from Puerto Villamil. After a short ride (approx. 20 min.) you will arrive at Tintoreras Islet, one of the most fascinating places on Isabela Island. Catch a sight of Tintoreras sharks, Galapagos sea lions, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, Sally Lightfoot Crabs, sea turtles, pelicans, and Galapagos Penguins. After a hike around the islet, get back on the boat and cool off by snorkeling in the waters nearby. PM - In the afternoon, head for the Humedales Complex for a bike trip. The first stop is the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center of Isabela. Mount in the bikes again to Mirador Orchilla, Estero de Isabela, and Playa del Amor and Wall of Tears. Read more
AM - Once equipped with lifejackets and oars, enjoy a kayaking excursion along Puerto Villamil bay. Reach Tintoreras Islet, a great site to observe Penguins, Blue-footed Boobies, and marine Iguanas. Make it up to El Faro before heading back to shore (approximately 2 hours). PM - In the afternoon you will grab your bikes again to visit the Highlands of Isabela aka. Campo Duro. Observe 42 Giant Galapagos Tortoises in a semi-natural inhabit the protected environment. On the way you will also visit the Mirador del Mango, La Cueva de Sucre (lava formations). Read more
Transfer to Baltra Airport. On the way out, stop by “The Twins” a.k.a. “The Gemelos”. Tour ends upon the arrival to the airport to catch plane to either Quito or Guayaquil.

Snorkeling with sea lions and penguins was a life time experience! Our favorite animal, however, is blue feet booies. They are so cute and funny looking!
