Discover two of the most famous Mediterranean Islands!
This 10-day trip starts from Crete, Greece's largest island with mythical mountains, deep gorges and a unique history dating back to the 4000-year-old Minoan civilization. We will continue to the jewel of Cyclades islands, the spectacular Santorini, with its whitewashed cubist-shaped houses, the dramatic volcano and the breathtaking views of what once originated the legend of Atlantis.
Greece has always been among the most popular holiday destinations worldwide, especially for its countless amazing islands. Each of them has something special to offer, and apart from the most popular such as Santorini, Mykonos and Crete there are a number of other islands which are less touristy, yet extremely beautiful and worth visiting.
Our self guided 8-day exploration focuses on the central region of this fascinating island and takes you from the pottery village of Margarites and the Akropolis of Ancient Eleftherna to Mt. Karfi and Zeus birthplace. Highlight of the trip will be the hike in the solitary wilderness of Crete's highest mountain, Mt. Psiloritis (or Idi).
Hike in the mountains of Naxos, a place of picturesque landscape ornamented with shepherds, goats, and tiny, solitary, whitewashed churches. Swim at the beautiful long beach of Pori in Koufonisi, where the sand is satin white and the sea a dazzling turquoise. Take in some of the most breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea at Amorgos. Savor fresh fish from the daily catch, at a local tavern by the sea.
Our 8-day trip, explores the southwest coast of Crete, with its spectacular White Mountains, the deep gorges and coastal trails that lead us to charming fishing villages and quite beaches, accessible only by boat.
